27th october

A new little friend came in the post today. I love him he is sat with Jack at the moment on my bed.

Were in the process of planning a suprise birthday/haloween party so its all go go go here at the moment. Were having too parties so the costume came intime :)

Also after a bit of shopping i bought a poster to liven up my room a bit (see other photo) i was thinking about getting the scrat one of play.com aswel but weel seeee

The wool looks perfect for what i need :) i was thinkging of doing the orange one for lottie :)

the lighting in this room seriously sucks so the pics are all grainy :( but you get the idea :)

Another piccy. This time it's Jack 2. Jake said he wanted one so I spent two weeks knitting him one and he's hardly looked at it. Jealously, I presume. It's not the same as yours - quite. Play spot the difference.

Oooh look what i found

Hmmm after some searching around the site I seem to have figured out how to post a well, post.

Today was quite bad i got up at 11.30 after being up till od knows when in the morning reading Twilight aloud to Hannah. It was fun but totally not woth missing half the day for.

I have plans to venture into the deep dark Library to see if i can find the Flixbrough book and a journal article but hey who knows what else i will find....

Jake is a wild card - he got a B in a music test yesterday.

Jake decided he was not going to work last night - again. He was also supposed to go to the dentist - I did, but he didn't get off the bus! He is a living example of games turning a brain to mush. He's fallen from 'the world's your oyster' to perhaps he needs to go to a specialist college if he is going to achieve any further. He behaves like a robot - kind of stands in the corner until you give him an order and only then will he do something. Be warned! It's his unwavering dedication to electronic game that really have turned his brain to mush.

The lead singer of the fabulous African group Batanai had his foot bandaged up when he came to lead a workshop last week at college. The evening concert was cool too but it is so difficult to catch the essence of music in a photograph. I think this one expresses some of the joy both musician and listener experienced at the Vale.

Here we go - my first entry but what do I write? Shall I rabbit on about archaeology or photography or knitting?

What's most important to me at the moment is that my long standing penfriend, Mary, died suddenly of cancer last week (25th September) after her sister Sandra has just recovered from her brush with cancer. At least she didn't suffer long.
